Who we are?

Prayer, love and compassion are key components in the Jesus Calls ministry. All the endeavors of Jesus Calls portray these major dynamics. The uniqueness of this global ministry is that Dr. Paul Dhinakaran and his entire family minister together to various people groups without regard to nationality, ethnicity, or socio-economic status. As a result, Jesus Calls necessitates a multi-faceted approach to a ministry that extends to men, women, youth, children, families, sick, the poor and needy.

In answer to the cry of millions, as found in Psalm 69:20, “Reproach has broken my heart, And I am full of heaviness; I looked for someone to take pity, but there was none; And for comforters, but I found none,” Jesus Calls provides hope and comfort to broken-hearted people by weeping with those who weep and mourning with those who mourn in accordance to what Jesus has said that if two agree together in his name on earth it’ll be done by his father in heaven. This mission is fulfilled through the Prayer Towers, Prayer Festivals, magazines, broadcast and digital media

Mission, Vision and Biblical Foundation

MISSION STATEMENT
Jesus Calls’ mission and purpose is to exalt our Lord Jesus Christ and heal the brokenhearted that their sorrows may turn into joy.

VISION STATEMENT
We accomplish our mission through the operation of the Jesus Calls Prayer Towers all over India in about 100 locations where intercessory prayer is offered 24 hours a day. Jesus Calls also conducts public prayer festivals and broadcasts its message through the media in order to see people forever changed through the love and compassion of Jesus Christ. It is the dream of the Dhinakarans that “not one soul would be lost.”

BIBLICAL FOUNDATION
“Therefore go make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you, always, to the end of the age” (Matthew 28:19-20 NIV).

I am a Jesus Calls ministry partner and live in Toronto Canada and was working as Senior IT professional in TD Canada Bank.

I had met with Dr. Paul Dhinakaran when he was in Toronto. Both me & my wife were born and brought up in SIKH families but the Lord saved us in 2004 and is using us for His service since then. I had shared with Dr. Paul my burden that it seems Lord wants me to spend full time for His kingdom – especially among South Asian community.

Bro Paul prayed over this issue and prophesied that Lord is preparing me for His work and at an appropriate time He will take me out of the Bank into His service.

The Prophesy came true.The Lord took me out of the Bank sometime back and am now working 24/7 for HIS kingdom.

The Lord is faithful and gave us a humble start two and half years back by helping us to plant a Punjabi church in Brampton (near Toronto). It is the first Punjabi Church in the area. Presently 90% of the congregation consists of believer brothers and sister from Sikh & Hindu families.

I have since been ordained as a pastor. All Glory to God.

Recently I was inflicted with a bone infection. The look on the doctors face was enough to scare me of a very bad disease and to add to this I was diagnosed to have high sugar levels just before christmas. I called Jesus calls prayer line and asked them to pray. Many prayed for me and kept asking me to have faith. My thumb was swollen at that time. I was on antibiotics for 6 weeks. However God heard our prayers. And to God be the glory for healing me. God is good . God bless Jesus calls Ministry for constantly praying for my healing.

Praise to our Lord Jesus Christ!
My wife and I were praying for a baby and we have been trying since 2016. As usual after a year after marriage my family and hers wanted us to have a baby but we both had no answers for them. The Doctor said my wife has Polycystic ovary syndrome and sugar problems and I too needed some testings. That’s when we went to the Jesus calls Prayer Tower in Toronto. The Prayer Intercessor prayed with tears. The Lord answered our prayers and the very same month my wife conceived and we received a wonderful gift from our loving heavenly Father. A handsome boy and we named him Enosh Nathanel. All glory and honor to God.

Praise the Lord!!

I have a testimony to share with you about a miracle happened in my life on Sep 13 2019.

I am a Nurse and my family and I moved to Canada in 2017. Our life was not going right in the way we wished to be. As an international nurse I had to go through so much paper work and procedures to work as a nurse in Canada.

I was asked by the Ontario nursing council to write Nclex RN exam to get officially licensed as a nurse. I applied to write exam on 12 Sep 2019. I studied hard for 2 months and I prayed as well. But when I finished my exam, I was totally devastated and lost all hope of passing. I realized there is only one way that I could pass is through my Lord Jesus. I cried and prayed till evening, suddenly I felt that somebody else should pray for me. I switched on my computer and logged on to prayer centres, Jesus calls-24hrs prayer service popped up. In no time I called the prayer tower located in Toronto. I heard the voice of Jesus through a prayer intercessor who answered my call. She prayed and consoled me when she heard I was crying aloud.

That conversation was a great relief for me and I really needed somebody at that time of disappointment.

I couldn’t sleep last night. Today, I received a mail saying that I passed the exam. I couldn’t believe my eyes. The impossible is granted. “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Thanks a lot, to Jesus calls who prayed for me.

Our statement of FAITH

WE BELIEVE: The Bible, both Old and New Testaments is without error and is alone the only infallible, inspired Word of God and declares His design and plan for humankind. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)

WE BELIEVE: There is only One True God eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. (2 Corinthians 13:14)

WE BELIEVE: In the Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in his sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death who is forever one Christ with two natures-God and man-in one person. (John 1:1,14, 20:28, 1 Timothy 3:16, Philippians 2:5-6)

WE BELIEVE: All of humankind was created in the image of God, but that by voluntary disobedience sin entered the world and ushered in evil and death, both physical and spiritual, into the world. (Romans 5:8)

WE BELIEVE: Every Person Can Have Restored Fellowship with God through Salvation (we are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ; His death, burial, and resurrection. (Ephesians 2:8-9, Galatians 2:16, Titus 3:5)

WE BELIEVE: Repentance is the commitment to sincerely turn from sin and follow Christ, which allows us to receive His redemption and be regenerated by the Holy Spirit. (Acts 2:21, 1 John 1:9)

WE BELIEVE: The Empowering of the Holy Spirit, according to Acts 2:4, is given to believers for power in Christian Witness. The Holy Spirit in one’s life brings forth changes, including a renewed love for God and His Word, as well as an embracing love for humankind and holy living. (Acts 1:8, Acts 2:4)

WE BELIEVE: “This is God’s will for you, your sanctification,” (1 Thessalonians 4:3). Deliverance from the power of sin is a present and continuous process in a believer becoming like Christ, which takes place by the Holy Spirit’s power and presence. (1 Thessalonians 4:3-8)

WE BELIEVE: The Bible teaches that each believer must make a strong commitment to build relational bridges to the unsaved/unchurched in order for Christ, through His body, to meet human needs with ministries of love and compassion. (Matthew 28:19, Romans 1:12)

WE BELIEVE: Christ’s vicarious death on the cross paid the penalty for the sins of all humankind, however, God’s benefits are for those who have trusted Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour. Healing, body, soul and spirit as well as all of God’s provisions for Christ’s followers are provided for in the atonement, but these must be appropriated. (Romans 5:10-11)

WE BELIEVE: In The Blessed Hope-*The Second Coming of Christ*-the imminent return of our Lord; begins with a personal coming, physical coming, visible coming, sudden coming, and a glorious coming. (Matthew 24:30, Acts 1:11, Acts 3:20, Titus 2:13, 1 Thessalonians 5:2-3, Hebrews 9:28)
