Blessing Message

“The Lord bless you and keep you.” Numbers 6:24

My precious friend, today’s promise is taken from Numbers 6:24 which says, “The Lord bless you and keep you.” What a wonderful promise of blessing! Your Heavenly Father is indeed in the business of blessing you. The more the enemy which is the devil brings curses upon curses, the Lord will defend you saying that you are His child and He will add blessing after blessing. These blessings from the Lord will neutralise the curses brought by the world and the devil. So, rejoice and be glad! The blessings of the Lord are not just for a day or for a moment but are with you always. Yes, God wants you to remain in His blessings unceasingly – Blessed while coming in and blessed while going out. The Lord also says in psalm 121:7 that He will bless your soul and keep your soul blessed. In other words, He is the Keeper of your soul. In Egypt, the Pharaohs were high and mighty people. But when they died, they would ask that their hands be kept on their chest when they would be buried. This is because they were worried and afraid that the devil may come and steal their soul after they died. Due to this, they would not be able to go to heaven. But that’s not going to save their soul. Only Jesus Christ can save our soul and keep it blessed. 

My friend, only when you are the child of Jesus shall your soul be blessed and kept blessed. So, open your heart and your mouth unto the Lord Jesus and thank Him for being the Lord of your life. Only He is able to protect and bless your soul. Numbers 24:1 says, “It pleased the Lord to bless Israel.” Likewise, it pleases the Lord to bless you too and keep you blessed. So, do not be afraid. Everything concerning you will be blessed by the One Who blesses you Who is the Lord Jesus Christ. Let the showers of blessings rain from above! 

PRAYER: Loving Heavenly Father, I thank You for encouraging me with Your promise. Lord Jesus, You are the Lord and Saviour of my life. Cleanse me with Your precious blood and make me Your child. You are the Keeper of my soul. Let Your glorious blessings neutralise every curse upon my life and transform me into a vessel of blessing and honour. Lord, I pray that Your face shines upon me and bless me in every area of my life. Let everything concerning me, from my ‘coming in’ to my ‘going out’ be blessed from now on. Let Your name alone be glorified.

“The Lord watches over all who love Him, but all the wicked He will destroy.” Psalm 145:20

Dear friend, today the Lord is going to bless you according to Psalm 145:20 which says, “The Lord watches over all who love Him, but all the wicked He will destroy.” Accordingly, the Lord will keep you and watch over you. He will also defend you and care for you. So be of good cheer!

When we were living in Dallas, Texas in a small place called Cedar Hill in the US, while we were watching the news on the television, they were announcing that our place is going to be hit by a tornado and were asking us to be safe and take cover. They were showing the map following the tornado’s direction. We were concerned because our daughter, Sharon was on her way home from college and she was driving alone. All our family members prayed and were checking on her if she was safe. The Lord miraculously helped her get back home safely. Another big miracle was that the tornado that was heading to hit Cedar Hill, just turned the other way around in a curve in the place where we were living and it went in another direction. Thus, the Lord covered us under His wings and saved the entire family. We all as a family thanked God profusely with all our hearts. 

My friend, what a loving God we have, isn’t it? This is what David says about God in Psalm 31:20, ‘You hide them in the shelter of Your presence, safe from those who conspire against them. You shelter them in Your presence far from accusing tongues.’ Accordingly, the Lord shelters those who love Him from all the wicked people and from the dangers of the world. So, please be confident in knowing that the Lord is watching over you as you keep loving Him with all your heart. May the Lord watch over you, defend you and care for you!

PRAYER: Loving Heavenly Father, let Your Mighty Hand of protection come upon me, right now. You are the God Who watches over me day and night. You neither sleep nor slumber. You never forsake me or leave my side. Lord, I pray that You will shelter me in Your holy presence and deliver me from all my enemies. Let no weapon that is formed against me, prosper, for You, O Lord, are My Deliverer. Thank You, Lord, for defending me and taking care of me always.

“Your eyes will see the King in His beauty.” Isaiah 33:17

My precious friend, today’s promise is taken from Isaiah 33:17 “Your eyes will see the King in His beauty.” So far, maybe your eyes have only seen disappointments, discouragements and fear. But from now on your eyes will see the King in His beauty. 

This is what the Lord has promised for this year that it would be a ‘Year of Beautification’. The Lord said, “From the mud heap, I will make you into a palace of beauty. You will be raised from the ashes into a beautiful person.” What a loving promise! For this to happen, God is going to touch your eyes to make you see Him, the King, in all His beauty in order for you to receive that beauty. Every time Jesus has appeared to us, we have seen His beauty coming through His love. He is not a person with arrogance and pride and with self-made glory as the King of kings. But He is the One who is so humble, so tender and so full of love. This is the beauty that Jesus carries, my friend. I would encourage you to turn your eyes on the beautiful face of Jesus. Yes, let your eyes behold the beauty of the king.

My friend, how is it possible to behold this lovely face of Jesus? Well, the Bible emphasises HOLINESS in Hebrews 12:14. Without holiness nobody can see the Lord. Only the holiness in your eyes, in your spirit and in your body can make you see the Lord face to face. Today, will you cry out to the Lord to cleanse your eyes? II Chronicles 16:9 says “the eyes of the Lord range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to Him.” My friend, how committed are you to the Lord? Jesus says when your eyes are holy, the whole body receives light and becomes pure. Let the Lord’s eyes which are full of beauty, love and life behold you to raise you up from your broken state. Just ask the Lord Jesus to transform your life by healing your eyes and thus enabling you to see His beauty to become more like Him. 

PRAYER: Loving Lord, thank You for speaking to me through Your Word. Lord, grant me the grace not to sin anymore with my eyes. Cleanse my eyes, my mind and my heart with Your precious blood. You desire holiness in my body, soul and spirit. Lord, I, therefore, surrender my life completely into Your loving hands. Keep me far away from sinning with my eyes for my eyes are light to my body. Let every pride, haughtiness and lust leave my eyes completely even as I pray and make me whole, Lord. I thank You for washing away my sins and for filling me with Your beautiful presence. Let Your eyes of compassion and love be always upon me and transform my life into a beautiful palace for Your glory.

“For just as we share abundantly in the sufferings of Christ, so also our comfort abounds through Christ.” 2 Corinthians 1:5

Dear friend, today the Lord is going to bless you according to 2 Corinthians 1:5. Here the bible says, “For the more we suffer for Christ, the more God will shower us with his comfort through Christ.” Many are the afflictions for the righteous. The righteous have to go through many afflictions. If you suffer for the cross of Christ, if you are oppressed and persecuted on His account, God will make sure that your heart is filled with consolation. His comforts will increase to the measure of your sufferings. 

After my mother got married, she had to live with people who did not know Christ. She was the only one who loved the Lord. For the sake of Christ, she went through many afflictions. For the sake of Christ she had to suffer a lot. When she carried me in her womb and she was pregnant, she was not even having food to eat. Her family members, refused to give her food. When she had delivery pain, her family members sent her away from our home.  I was born in mud floor outside in my own home. For the sake of Christ my mother went through so much. When I got married my mother was so happy to see my wedding. That was the happiest day for my mom. That was the most joyous day for my mom. The more my mother suffered, her consolation also increased. The more my mother suffered, the more comfort she enjoyed from the hands of God.

My dear friend, I know God is able to heal even the most painful wounds which is in your heart. May the Lord’s comfort increase upon you. God bless you my friend. 

PRAYER: Loving heavenly father, you know my suffering even today. Lord let your hand come upon me to comfort me O God. Father, the more I suffer let me enjoy your comforts much more O Lord. Put an end to my suffering today master. Lord let everything change right now O master. Let everything be turned to joy today. O God. Let the love of my family members come back to me. Thank you Jesus, for you are filling me with joy and comfort. Thank you Jesus. In Jesus’ Name I pray amen. 

“From now on I will tell you of new things, of hidden things unknown to you.” Isaiah 48:6

My dear friend, today, we are meditating on the promise verse which is in Isaiah 48:6, “From now on I will tell you of new things, of hidden things unknown to you.” Accordingly, the Lord is going to reveal new things and hidden things that you are not aware of, in your life. 

When I think of this verse, I remember an incident that happened in the life of a person named Priya. She has been volunteering at the Jesus Calls Prayer Tower for so many years. After she got married, she stopped volunteering for a while, since she had to take care of her family. During that time, she was preparing for a government job. While she was preparing for the same, people around her discouraged her by saying that she was a married woman and that this was unnecessary stress for her. They kept saying that she will not succeed in getting the job. At this moment, she went to the Prayer Tower and prayed to the Lord diligently saying that she wants to secure the job through hard work and not by giving any bribes. She also continued to serve and volunteer at the Prayer Tower. Do you know what happened? That job posting was only supposed to be open after two years. But right after she prayed at the Prayer Tower which is a week later that posting opened up and she got the job just as she had prayed. She was so happy and she praised God since it was something that was beyond her capacity. God opened up a way for her. Now she is in a high position in the government and she speaks directly to the chief minister.

My friend, today, you may be scared and discouraged about your future. Your future might seem so bleak. You may not be aware of where you are heading to. But the Lord says to you that He will reveal a new thing in your life which you didn’t even know. Maybe you are feeling so unworthy and unsure whether you would be able to fulfill a task. But the Lord will open up new doors for you and show you hidden things just as He did for Sis. Priya and you will walk straight through it. So, no need to be afraid of your future. God will make a way for you! 

Prayer:

Loving Lord, thank You for speaking to me through Your Word. You are the Lord who is able to do something new in my life. You can make a way in the wilderness and streams in the desert. So, I look up to You, Lord, from where comes my help. I pray that You will reveal new things and hidden things concerning my life so that I can persevere and walk in Your ways. Let me know exactly what to do in life with Your guidance. Lord, I dedicate my future to You. I believe that You will lead me and will take me to great heights as I walk on Your new path.In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen. 

“He will call on Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honour him.” Psalm 91:15 

My dear friend, today we are meditating on the promise verse which is taken from Psalm 91:15, “He will call on Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honour him.” What a wonderful promise from God!

My friend when we have problems in this world, what do we first think of doing? We immediately run to our elders or the people of our house or to our friends to seek comfort, advice, and help. But when none of them can help, we cry and cry because of disappointment. Perhaps, right now, your quality of life is hampered because of the sickness in your body, or you are feeling suffocated because of your debts. Or perhaps you are depressed that nobody is there to love you and care for you, or maybe it is because of your failures in life and you think there is no way out.

Whatever it may be, it is to you that the Lord says, “My child, call upon My name and I will answer you. I will be with you in trouble. I will deliver you and honour you.” What an uplifting promise, my friend! The Lord will indeed keep you in high places. So not only will the Lord help you, but He will also deliver you and be with you through it all. He will teach you what you should do so that you will have victory in the end. So, don’t go running after people crying out to somebody to help you. Just say, “Jesus, help me!” He will come to be with you and deliver you. When you keep doing what you have to do according to the Lord’s plan, He will honour you and keep you in high places. So, rejoice in this promise, my friend and God will give you victory.

Prayer:

Loving Lord, I thank You for encouraging me with Your promise. Thank You for assuring me that You are there to help me. Lord, right now, I call on Your mighty name. I pray that You will deliver me from my problems and honour me as You have promised. I trust Your words completely. I submit my life into Your hands. Lord, grant me the grace to walk according to Your plan and be lifted to the high places for Your glory. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

“I am the Lord your God, who teaches you what is best for you”. Isaiah 48:17

My friend today is a new day to shine for the Lord! He is promising you from Isaiah 48:17, “I am the Lord your God, who teaches you what is best for you”. Accordingly, the Lord will teach you His ways and will make you shine the brightest for His glory.

The Bible calls one of the attributes of Jesus to be a ‘Counsellor’. When the Lord Jesus was on this earth, people called Him a teacher because He was revealing heaven’s truths to them. In the same manner, the Lord will teach you and lead you into all truth in your life. Firstly, the Lord is going to teach you what is best for your body as in what to eat and what to do to keep your body fit for the Lord. Just think about it! What if you neglect your health and your body is weak, you will not be able to move around for the Lord. There are some people who pray earnestly for God to remove their sugar problem. But as soon as they say ‘amen’ two sweets will go into their mouth. My friend, it is no use praying when we are not taking care of our bodies. Therefore, the Lord is going to lead you on how to take care of your body to make you stay strong for Him.

Secondly, the Lord is going to teach you what is best for your mind. He will remove the negative effect of all the words of people that are harmful and hurtful to you. He will remove every restlessness from your mind and will teach you to be hopeful in Him and in peace. And finally, the Lord will teach you so beautifully to make the right decisions in life. Every decision has a big impact on our life. I always fast and pray saying, “Lord, let me hear your correct voice for me.” Fasting dulls your own voice and makes you hear God’s voice. The Lord’s voice will help you move away from the wrong direction by indicating that it will cause you harm. He will also teach you how to rectify and be on track again. You will thus be in tune with the Greatest Teacher. Receive this grace today and be blessed! 

Prayer:

Loving Lord, thank You for speaking to me through Your Word. Lord, You are the greatest Teacher in this world. Lord, I want to keep on hearing Your voice. Grant me the grace to listen to Your voice and obey. Help me to submit myself more to You in order to listen to Your voice more. Lord, even now, I submit my body, my mind and all my decisions to You. I need Your guidance. I want to do Your will alone, Father. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen. 

“ My Grace is sufficient for you.” 2 Corinthians 12:9

 Dear friend, today’s promise is from 2 Corinthians 12:9. The Lord says to you, “My Grace is sufficient for you.” Is God’s grace sufficient for us? It is more than sufficient. In James 4:6, Bible says, “God gives grace generously.” Yes, God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble. The word grace means God is looking beyond our faults. So don’t take grace lightly. 

We might say that we can do anything we want and His Grace will sustain us. But never try to hide your flaws because that will not help you in any way. Do not be deceived by the enemy. It is important to confess our sins every day. It may be small or great, but then it is so important for us to confess our sins and leave it. As the Bible says in Proverbs 28:13, “If you don’t confess your sins,” you will be a failure. But God will be merciful if you confess sins and give them up. Even today, confess and try to give them up. 

When we were there in Nagaland recently, a young Boy called Bishal gave a testimony like this. When he was in class eight, he started smoking cigarettes and as the days went by, he started to have drugs. He was a failure in his life. But then one day as he watched the Jesus Calls program, as he watched me speaking, he was convicted of all his bad habits. The Lord touched him, and he became new. He really confessed his sins and got the abundant grace of God. He passed his examinations with 80% marks. The Lord has given him a beautiful job today. Along with his job today he is working for the Lord. What a successful life he is living today! He humbled himself and surrendered his life totally to God. The Lord’s mighty hand lifted him to great heights. Today the same hand is coming upon you dear friend. He is willing to pour out his grace generously upon you. Are you ready to receive His abundant grace today? Submit yourself to God. God bless you.

Prayer:

Loving Father, help me to leave all the bad habits and addictions in my life Lord. Father let your grace be sufficient for me, Lord. Even now as I am confessing my sins and let the addictions leave me. Let all the cravings of the evil habits leave me completely. Let your Holiness be poured upon me Lord. Touch me.  Let your abundant grace come upon me to do good works. Lift me up to great heights oh God. In Jesus name, I pray, Amen. 

“On that day,’ declares the Lord Almighty, ‘I will take you, my servant Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel,’ declares the Lord, ‘and I will make you like my signet ring, for I have chosen you,’ declares the Lord Almighty.” Haggai 2:23

My precious friend, today’s promise is taken from Haggai 2:23. “On that day,” declares the Lord Almighty, “I will take you, my servant Zerubbabel, son of Shealtiel,” declares the Lord, “and I will make you like my signet ring, for I have chosen you,” declares the Lord Almighty.” In this verse, the Lord says to Zerubbabel, the governor of Jerusalem, “I will make you like my signet ring, for I have chosen you.” The Lord says the same to you today. He says, “I have chosen you, my son or daughter, so rule with all My authority.” Don’t think you’re defeated. Yes, He will build you and build your ruins again. He further says, “I will make Jerusalem a beautiful city and a palace.” Jeremiah 30:18 says so: This is what the LORD says: “When I bring Israel home again from captivity and restore their fortunes, Jerusalem will be rebuilt on its ruins and the palace reconstructed as before.” Yes, you have been chosen for that. Even today, God is saying the same thing to you.

My son or daughter says, “Maybe everything has become a mud heap.” May be everything in your life has become ruins. Yet God says, “I am putting my seal of authority upon you.” I am giving my signet ring of authority to you. “You have my name.” Yes, you are carrying the name of Jesus, in whose name every knee bows. At the name of Jesus every problem bows. Every devil runs. Every sickness is healed. God says, “I am placing the seal of my name upon your life, my son and daughter, because I have chosen you. Rise up and build now. If you build your spirit and enjoy my living presence, you will become my palace. I will live in you, and there will be life in you and in your spirit from now on. Rise up and build your studies again. I will raise you up with wisdom. My wisdom is the seal given to you, my child. You will be a palace and prosper in every way. Rise up and build your family again. I will raise you up and build your family like a palace. You will rise up in your ministry. You will rise up in your social realm; rise up in your job. Rise up in every area of your life. I have chosen you to become a palace. ‘I am your authority.”

Rise up, my friend, for Jesus, the King of kings, is giving you the authority to prosper. Because He has already gone through every problem, defeated it on the cross, and risen up alive, you will live also

Prayer:

Loving heavenly Father, raise me up to your loving bosom. Lord let me rise up from the mud heaps and ruins to become a palace in Your name. Thank you for putting your seal of authority upon me. The Holy Spirit who is the seal of authority fill meand let me become a palace. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

“With your help I can advance against a troop; with my God I can scale a wall.” Psalm 18:29

My precious children of God, I greet you in the name of our Lord Saviour Jesus Christ, today according to our promise verse which is in, Psalm 18:29, For by You I can run through a troop, and by my God I can leap over a wall. Yes, my dear friend, with God, you will be able to do it with your trust in God to make anything possible.

In the Bible, when we look at David’s life who put his hope in God and through God’s help was able to do everything from his young age; his trust on God was the main reason for him to triumph over the big giant, Goliath with just a sling and a stone. We can clearly see that in 1 Samuel 17:45 which says that David fought Goliath with the name of the Lord Almighty, the God of armies of Israel. Likewise remember to put your trust in the Lord just as David in hard times to do your missions just as it says in Psalm 23:1-3, The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters and refreshes my soul. Yes, God will be your shepherd and will lead you to safety and help you conquer everything. So, love the Lord with all your heart, he will be your strength as in Psalm 18:1.Believe that God is your fortress and will deliver you from all the troubles as said in verse 2, The Lord is my rock, my fortress and deliverer, my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.

How much do you love the Lord? Do you love him with all your heart and put your trust in him? Never be afraid of anyone just as David never feared Goliath and stay courageous as God is by your side. Times where you fear someone that they will hurt you, remember to call unto the Lord and he will cover you with his feathers; to protect you from all your enemies who threaten you. All your enemies will tremble before God’s name, the name that has crushed satan and has won the victory. So, cling onto the Lord and be successful. The Lord will be your shepherd and will bless you abundantly. Just claim this promise and thank the Lord, today.

Prayer:

Heavenly father, thank you for speaking to me through Your Word. Thank you for all the blessings you have given me. Lord, as I am going through many problems in life give me the grace to believe that anything is possible through your name. Help me to face my problems, difficulties and conquer everything right now. Bless me with your wisdom and knowledge. In Jesus’ mighty name, I pray, Amen.
