Blessing Message

“Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.” (Revelation 3:20)
In the Bible, we read about Jesus delivering a demon-possessed man.  When Jesus asked, “What is your name?” The evil spirit in the man replied, “My name is Legion.”  Jesus commanded it to leave and the spirits left him.  When people came to Jesus, they saw this man who had been possessed by the legion of demons, sitting there, dressed and stable in mind. But they were afraid (Mark 5:1-15).  Yes, just one word or look from Jesus can commend a divine shift in a person’s life.  Nothing is impossible with God.  Merely allowing Him to take control over your life brings deliverance and blessings you ever thought of!  Here is a testimony from John Joseph, Chennai, India who was an alcoholic.  He shares his new-found faith and how the Lord delivered him from addiction. 

“Though I knew the Lord Jesus, I was living far away from Him during my young days. As days went by, I became addicted to alcohol and lost everything.  At this time, my father also became addicted to drinks. Hence, our family was in ruins. I could not stay without taking drinks even for a single day since then or else my hands and legs would begin to tremble.  This rendered me useless to do any work.  My mother always used to contact the Jesus Calls Prayer Tower and get prayers for me. At this state, I too began visiting the Prayer Tower and started watching the Jesus Calls television programme. One day when I was at home, I saw a vision. I saw the Lord Jesus standing outside our house and knocking the door. That very day I committed my life to the Lord and a divine peace filled me. From then on, my life has totally changed. Now I am a new man. The Lord is with me and I am doing my own welding business. My business is good. My father also has left his drinking habit and has become a child of God. Now I am sharing the Lord’s love with others.” 

Awesome are the works of God. Today, Jesus says to you, “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me” (Revelation 3:20).  Will you open your heart and accept Jesus into you. He will make you a new creation by delivering you from all bondages.  No fetter can stay unbroken at His name “Jesus”!  No sin can stand before the cleansing power of His blood.  Yes, no weapon formed against you can ever prosper. 

Prayer:
Dear Lord Jesus,

Come into my heart. Make it all yours. Rule my life. Let Your Holy Spirit guide me throughout my life. Stay with me, O Lord. Your presence in me will help me to soar high above others. Let Your kingdom come into my family too.

The lips of the righteous nourish many (Proverbs 10:21).
My father, Bro. D.G.S.Dhinakaran finished his earthly race and was taken into God’s presence on 20th February 2008. Bible declares, “Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints” (Psalm 116:15). I thank God for His  faithfulness and for His awesome works.

The Lord intervened with my father Dhinakaran when he was a young man on February 11th, 1955. He was depressed and decided to end his life at a very young age and was in the process of doing so. At that time, the message of the love of Jesus reached my father through his uncle who had already tasted God’s love. The Lord graciously saved my father when he cried and prayed at the feet of the Lord as per the guidance of his uncle. From that day onwards when my father came to know about the love of God, he began to declare it to others and today, this ‘Jesus Calls’ ministry has expanded in such a vast manner. The songs sung by my father D.G.S.Dhinakaran, God’s messages he gave and the powerful witnesses God had raised through him, led crores of people to the Lord.

Even after my father’s demise, his comforting messages, powerful prayers and songs lead many to Christ even today.  The Bible says, “The lips of the righteous nourish many” (Proverbs 10:21).  The little that which is yielded to God would always multiply!  My father’s secret to successful and fruitful ministry came from waiting in the presence of God. Until God speaks, he never left God’s presence.  This is the reason why God used him to touch millions of people around the world.  Yes, God is the best Counsellor at all times.    

 Be filled with the Holy Spirit always. No mountain is too big before the great God.  Mountain-like problems will melt like wax in His presence.  Keep reading and meditating the word of God.  The psalmist says, “…but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night.  That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither – whatever they do prospers” (Psalm 1:2-3). Beloved, choose to practise staying in God’s presence.
Prayer:
Dear Father in Heaven,

You are the Lord of lords and King of kings. Fill me with the Holy Spirit. Give me unquenchable desire to read and meditate the Word of God. Make me a house built on the Rock Jesus. I need Your wisdom and favour to make right and rich decisions on everything concerning my life.  Use me for Your glory.

I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with My loving eye on you. (Psalm 32:8)
Do you need someone who can give you a wise counsel? The only One who can guide you in the right path is Jesus Christ.  He has promised, “I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with My loving eye on you” (Psalm 32:8). Just musing over this promise, would reveal that you are constantly under the Lord’s encompassing gaze.

One day, a couple was travelling in their own aircraft. The husband was flying the plane. Suddenly he had a heart attack and died within a few minutes. His wife did not know how to fly a plane. Therefore, she was completely confused and not knowing what to do she pressed the button that put the pilot in touch with the Ground Control Room through radio. There was one person who responded to her call and asked her if she needed help. He could guide her from the ground itself as to which lever to pull and which switch to press. She exactly followed his instructions and landed the airplane safely into the airport.

Yes! It is in the same way the Lord Jesus Christ guides you by speaking to you saying, “Go this way! Go that way! Do this! Do not do this! Be careful of that man. The devil is coming to tempt you.” This is what the Bible says, “Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it”” (Isaiah 30:21). You have a God on whom you can completely rely upon. Whatever is the situation, He will direct you wisely, safely and victoriously. Let us surrender our lives to Jesus and pray, “Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my life” (Psalm 143:8). Stay open towards this divine guidance.  Nothing can separate you from God’s counsel.

Prayer:
Dear Father,

My surmounting problems make me turn to all directions. I am sorry for I have drifted away from Your counsel, the precious Word. I come back to You. Open my heart, eyes and ears to apprehend Your voice and counsel. I surrender to walk in Your ways. Show me Your ways of prosperity.

You shall seek them and not find them – Those who contended with you. Those who war against you shall be as nothing, as a non-existent thing. (Isaiah 41:12)
In this world, enemies might rise against you and devise evil plans to hurt you and harm you. Bible also says that our adversary the devil, walks about like a roaring lion seeking whom he might devour (1Peter 5:8). During such times, our God of peace is all-powerful to crush and to trample them under your feet (Romans 16:20). He will give you the strength to take victory. Do not give up.

There was a poor man. Because of his poverty, he borrowed money to meet his urgent needs. At the time of getting the loan, the lender spoke to him very sweetly. However, as the days went by, the interest amount went higher and higher. Since, the lender was a wicked person, he wrote false accounts and demanded from the borrower more and more money than what was due to him. The poor borrower could not understand the fraud committed by the lender. When he asked for details and how he arrived at that figure, the lender threatened him with dire consequences. The poor man looked up to God and cried out to Him with a broken heart. He also approached a good Christian lawyer who comforted him saying, “Brother! I know that it is not the true account. I will do my best to help you. But, you keep seeking God through your fervent prayers.”  God heard his prayers and enabled him to receive a fair judgement from the court. The court set right the false accounts and passed a judgement to make him pay only what was legally due to the lender. God by His grace also helped this poor man to get the necessary money to settle his accounts.

Dearly beloved! You too look up to God in the midst of your struggles and burdens. You are sure to receive help from above (Psalm 121:1-2).  If you are undergoing undue suffering, just trust God’s word, which says, “You shall seek them and not find them – those who contended with you. Those who war against you shall be as nothing, as a non-existent thing” (Isaiah 41:12).  God is a God of justice.  He will restore that which belongs to you.  Your faith will be surely honoured.  Do not lose your hope.  Bible strongly says, “What, then, shall we say in response to these things?  If God is for us, who can be against us?” (Romans 8:31).
Prayer:
Precious Redeemer!

I face many struggles and battles in my life. I cannot do anything with my own strength. Therefore, today, I hold on to You to receive Your strength to fight my battles and take victory. Give me Your perfect peace and save me from evil people and the temptations of this world. Bless me abundantly. In the peace-giving name of our Lord Jesus Christ, I pray,

Amen.

Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you (Matthew 7:7).
God invites you to come boldly to His presence and ask Him whatever you need, because He has promised, “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives” (Matthew 7:7-8). Nagaraju from Hyderabad shares the blessings received from the loving hands of Jesus when he looked upon the face of Jesus for His needs:

“I was diagnosed with vascular problem in my left leg. Therefore, I could not walk or sit for a long time because of the swelling.  As there were blood clots in my leg, the doctor advised me to undergo a surgery. At that time, my sister contacted Jesus Calls Prayer Tower and prayed for me. Hearing the prayer, the Lord did a miracle. Just an hour before the operation, the doctors found that there is no need for an operation and put me under pills for a course of time.  However, even after taking medicines, the pain and swelling in my leg remained.  As I am a marketing executive, I faced great challenges with my every day travel schedule having this painful leg. At that time, I came to know of the Jesus Calls gospel meeting and with much difficulty my wife brought me there. During the prayer time, Mrs. Evangeline Paul Dhinakaran was praying for those who had problems in the blood to be healed and for blood clots to be removed. At that moment, I felt a cool sensation in my leg after which I walked twice around the whole ground to my astonishment! The pain and swelling left me. I thank God for doing this miracle in my life. Through the Jesus Calls ministry, we have received more numerous blessings. Praise God!”

Hope this testimony would have encouraged you today.  The Bible says, “If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him! (Matthew 7:11). Today, seek Jesus for your needs.  Ask the heavenly Father who is the source of all good things. He is a prayer answering God. He will open His choicest blessings upon you. Today’s promise encourages you to come to Him with boldness and expectation.  Pray often, pray regularly, pray confidently.
Prayer:
Dear good Father,

I come to You in Jesus’ name. Thank You for Your love, grace, mercy and favour that is on me at all times.  Lord, even now, as I look to Your face for my needs to be met, I know that I will not be put to shame.  You will wipe away all my tears. I will continue to love you with all my heart, soul and mind.  Bring me to a place of super-abundant life.

“Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom” (2 Corinthians 3:17)
There is hope in Jesus for complete freedom from addictions.  Today, the Lord will break all the bondages, set you free and make you stand erect. Be of good courage.  God’s strength and power will be seen in your life. He loves you so much.  I would like to share the testimony of Ms. Selvi whose husband was delivered from alcoholism through prayers.

“My husband’s name is Mr. Muthukumar. We reside in Bengaluru. We are blessed with two daughters. My husband is a person of good character but he got addicted to alcohol. In a week, he would drink twice or thrice and that was the reason for him to get into accidents. In one such accident, he had a fracture. Another time, he got injured very badly and was admitted in the ICU. Since he was continuously taking alcohol, he felt that his eyesight was affected. No matter how hard I advised him, he could not come out of the habit of drinking. It happened one day that as I was watching the ‘Jesus Calls’ TV program in the morning, my husband also watched the program along with me. When Dr. Paul was praying in that programme, suddenly without his knowledge, he too knelt down closing his eyes and started to pray. Surprisingly, from that day onwards he was delivered from his drinking habit! By the grace of the Lord, now he is healthy. Praise the Lord!”

What an amazing miracle!  Don’t we read in the Bible, “Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom” (2 Corinthians 3:17). The power of the Holy Spirit struck the person and broke the yoke of addiction.  Do you need deliverance from a long-term addiction or sickness? Are you standing in faith for someone to be delivered? Call on the name of “Jesus.”  He will bring a total transformation into their lives. Today is a day of great deliverance and rejoicing. You will be honoured in all places where you faced shame.All that you had lost, you will regain.

Prayer:
Dear Father,

I believe that the remedy for my deliverance and healing is in You. I repent for not following Your statutes. Let Your mercy fall upon me and restore the joy of salvation. In the name of Jesus’ I curse every sickness and addiction to leave me. Set me free and make me a  channel of blessing to others. Let my life bring glory and honour to you.  

I ask this prayer in Jesus’ name, Amen.

“Cast your cares on the Lord and He will sustain you” (Psalm 55:22)
Sometimes we tend to lean on our wisdom or follow the advice of others while facing troubles.  To our surprise, they lead to unwanted stress, failure, fear, and depression.  As you become highly concerned about a solution for your problem, you will displace God from your life and sink in a sea of worry. Your knees begin to buckle as you try handling all by yourself.  So, to avoid the stress and worry, submit yourself completely in the hands of God trusting that He will make your paths straight. He will send the favour on you and whatever you think is impossible, He will make it possible.   Here is God’s answer to all your worries, stated in one verse: “Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you” (Psalm 55:22).

A psychologist illustrated stress management to an audience in this way: She raised a glass of water and inquired smilingly, “How heavy is this glass of water?” Answers ranged from 8 oz. to 20 oz.  She replied, “The absolute weight of this glass does not matter.  Instead, the length of time I hold this glass matters.  If I hold it for one minute, it is not a problem. If I hold it for an hour, I will have pain in my arm. If I hold it for a day, my arm will feel numb and get paralyzed.  On careful observation, we can notice that the weight of the glass does not change, but the longer I hold it, the heavier it becomes.”  She continued: “The stresses and worries in life are like this glass of water. Nothing happens when you think about them for a while.  They begin to hurt when you think about them a bit longer.  And if you think about them all day long, you will feel paralyzed – incapable of doing anything.”

Beloved, it is important to safeguard from being strangled by worries. Let go of your stresses. As early as you can, cast all your cares on the Lord who said, “Come to Me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you, and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls” (Matthew 11:28-29).  Are you concerned about the forthcoming exams? Is the financial problem choking you?  Are you staggering with health issues?  Remember to put the glass down!  Cling on to the Lord who created the heaven and the earth.  Everything is possible for Him.  He will open a way for you in the wilderness.  You can live without fear because God has you in his heart at this very moment. He will not forget you indeed; He cannot forget you.
Prayer:
Loving Lord,

I know You are going before me. You know all my problems. Even now, I surrender all my cares and concerns to You. Help me to get rid of this spirit of worry. Bring me out of this depression. God, You are the source of wisdom. Grant me solution for this problem. Bless me with peaceful sleep every day.

So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed. (John 8:36)
Jesus Christ came into this world to set us free from oppression, suppression, sickness and from the works of the devil.  He said, “The Spirit of the Lord is on Me….and He has sent Me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free” (Luke 4:18). Today, Jesus has given the same authority to every child of God to pull down the strongholds of the enemy. His Name, His blood, His promises, His Spirit, His covenant – They are the antidote for all evil seeds sown by the Satan. Here is a dear sister testifying how God transformed her life through the power of the Holy Spirit. 

“I am 63 years old now. When I was born, my mother tried to kill me since I was a girl baby. But my father saved me and brought me up. My marriage lasted for only three years. My son was 1½ years old at that time.  Without any support from the family, I went through lacks and pain. I then started a business and it failed.   My son   grew up and completed his schooling but at college, instead of attending classes regularly, he became a wayward child.  My pain mounted high.  I had no means to pay the house rent, food or clothing. I was languishing between life and death. At this juncture, a sister, who is conducting the Jesus Calls ‘Esther Prayer Group’ met me, comforted me and took me to one of its prayer.  Later, she led me into salvation.  When I committed my life to Jesus and when the Esther  Prayer Group’ members prayed for me filled with the anointing of the Holy Spirit, the Lord granted me complete deliverance from the demonic oppressions. That same evening, I got a part time job. We continued to pray for my son’s transformation in the Esther Prayer Group. The Lord delivered him as well and now he has completed his studies and he is going for a job regularly. Because of the anointing of the Holy Spirit in me, I have received the joy and peace which I had never enjoyed for the past 60 years.”

Bible assures, “So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed” (John 8:36).  True deliverance comes only through Jesus.  Today, take Jesus inside your heart.  As you become a part of God’s family, you will experience His peace, guidance, provision, comfort and fullness in your everyday life. Step forward to your loving Father Jesus and choose to taste His grace.  Reject every form of deception that robs you off God’s abundant life.  God has better plans for your life!

Prayer:
Loving Father,

Help me to understand the wonders of Your precious redemption. Fill me with Your precious Holy Spirit. Your love for me is greater than anything. I allow myself to comprehend Your love and peace every day. Lord, deliver me from every deception and addiction of the devil. In the name of Jesus’ let every fetter break forth right now. I receive the blessed life from the hands of Jesus,

Amen.

If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask Him!” (Matthew 7:11).
After India got independence from the British rule, while forming the constitution, Mahatma Gandhi said, “You write anything in the constitution.  But, I want one thing – I want every tear of every Indian to be wiped out.”  That was the heart of Gandhi!  In the same way, our almighty God also loves to wipe away every tear from the face of His children. The Word of God assures the goodness of God in Matthew 7:9-11 as, “Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask Him!”

What good gift did the good Father in heaven send to exhibit His amazing and unfathomable love to mankind?  He sent His darling Son Jesus in the form of flesh into this world to die for us.  Why did Jesus come into this world in the form of human being?  One preacher illustrated this way – He was walking in the street where he found a group of ants moving in a line.  After the ants saw the leg of this speaker, they all thought that he is about to hurt them.  Therefore, they scattered here and there regardless of his kind words.  At that moment, the preacher realized, “If I am an ant, I could have easily conveyed my message.”


Beloved, this is why Jesus too came into this world in the form of flesh so that we would behold a bit of His glory!  To save us from sin, sickness, curse, shame, lack and restore every blessing in its original form is His heartbeat for you.  Romans 8:32 says, “He who did not spare His own Son, but gave Him up for us all – how will He not also, along with Him, graciously give us all things?”  So, what is your need today? Ask boldly and claim all the blessing that is in store for you in His presence.  You will not lack anything good because God is waiting to bless you in an unlimited and unimaginable way.  Moreover, your sorrow would come to end in a glorious manner.  No matter what is the reason for your tears, Jesus will wipe it away.

Prayer:
Loving Father,

I believe that You are a good father who gives only the best.  I come before You in the name of Jesus, Your Son.  You have sent the best gift Jesus for me into this world and so I know You will do the best in everything concerning my life. Lord, I submit all my needs to You.  Manifest Your miracle-working power in my life.  Help me to experience the depth of Your great love.

“Yet the righteous will hold to his way, and he who has clean hands will be stronger and stronger.” (Job 17:9)A man becomes new, created according to God in true righteousness and holiness (Ephesians 4:24) when he is sanctified from a life of wrath and from sin and bondage, by the grace of the Lord and receives the redemption given by Jesus Christ. Daniel and his friends were young Israelites when they were taken to Babylon as captives. Yet, they did not worship other gods but were very firm in their faith in the Lord and excelled as heroes of faith and as great witnesses for God. See how they became great and were exalted because of such indomitable faith.    

A student who was studying in a college was the only son to his parents. His father, amidst financial constraints educated him with great difficulty. This young man did not attend the classes but  joined his friends and wasted his time in watching movies and in seeking other pleasures. Consequently, he faced failure after failure in his studies. At this juncture, the Lord transformed him through His divine love. He received a new life and understood the true love of his parents. Thereafter, he worked very hard, studied his lessons with the help of the Lord, passed his examinations, and received his degree too. He stood firm in proclaiming the love of God to people like him who were ignorant of God’s love. He became a shining star before many and the Lord who saw his steadfast faith and zeal, gave him a good job and a loving life partner. He exalted him more and more in all walks of his life.

Yes, my dearly beloved, especially the youth! Do not follow the  ways of this world. The Lord wants to set you free and give you a new life. Bible encourages you, “Who may ascend into the hill of the LORD? Or who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who has not lifted up his soul to an idol, nor sworn deceitfully” (Psalm 24:3, 4). Walk firmly in the righteous ways that are pleasing to the Lord and receive His abundant blessings. Then you will be strengthened according to the verse, “There is nothing better in this world than the love of God. He who has clean hands will be stronger and stronger” (Job 17:9). He will surely elevate you to great heights.

Prayer:Precious God,

Lead me in righteous ways and help me to walk in them with steadfast faith. Grant me the grace to follow Your divine ways with a clean mind and a pure heart. Help me to arise and shine for the glory of Your name and receive Your abundant blessings. In the sweet name of our Lord Jesus I pray, O Father,
