Blessing Message

 “O You who hear prayer, To You all flesh will come.” Psalm 65:2

My precious friend, firstly, I would like to thank you for standing with us to wipe away the tears of millions of people. We are so grateful for all your love and prayers. Today’s promise is taken from Psalm 65:2 which says, “O You who hear prayer, To You all flesh will come.” What a wonderful declaration unto God! It says “O Lord who hears prayers. Unto you shall all men come.” Accordingly, God is indeed a prayer answering God and He has heard your prayers! 

Today is the day when Jesus appeared to my father, Dr. D.G.S Dhinakaran and spoke to him face to face. This happened sixty years ago. When Jesus spoke to my father for three hours, He said “My son, when I was in this world I was moved with compassion when I saw the multitudes of broken-hearted people. My love flowed to them and I gave them whatever they wanted. I forgave their sins; healed their bodies; built their homes; drove the devils out; provided food for them; raised their dead and saved them from natural calamities as well. I cared for everyone. This world longs to experience My love. Today, I am anointing you with My love and compassion. From today when you hear the agony of the people you will begin to cry. My compassions will make you cry and when you cry, I will come, see your tears, listen to your prayers and I will wipe away the tears of the other person. Sixty years have passed and since four generations, starting from my grandfather millions of people’s tears have been wiped away through prayer; through the Jesus Calls Ministry and the mission of Karunya and the mission of SEESHA to care for the poor and destitute. Today also happens to be the anniversary of the Bethesda Prayer Centre. This place is in Karunya Nagar in Coimbatore district, Tamil Nadu. Please do visit this place with your family and experience a blessed and prayerful time. 

My friend, thank God, we have a God who hears and answers prayers. The Lord has been listening to your prayers. He will also hear your prayers offered today and He will enable you to pray for others with compassion too. Expect great things from the Lord! The Lord will do miracles for you.

Prayer:

Precious Heavenly Father, I am so grateful for Your loving promise. Thank You for listening to my prayers. Thank You for answering my prayers and thank You, Holy Spirit, for praying for me. I thank You for healing every hurt and wound in my heart and for filling me with Your comforting presence. Lord, even now, anoint me with Your compassion and love for the broken-hearted people. Keep me as a channel of blessing to the people around me. I believe that You are a prayer answering God. Thank You for anointing me to pray with compassion for others. Lord, I believe that You have heard my prayers and will do miracles in my life. Fill me with Your compassion and love. Let me be a blessing to Your people and Your Ministry. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

“Rend your heart and not your garments. Return to the Lord your God, for He is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in love, and He relents from sending calamity.” Joel 2:13

Dear friend, today the Lord is mindful of giving you a new heart. God’s promise is taken from Joel 2:13 which says, “Rend your heart and not your garments. Return to the Lord your God, for He is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in love, and He relents from sending calamity.” What a wonderful promise! Here, God says “Don’t tear your clothing in your grief. But tear your hearts instead.” It is also a call-out to the children of God to: ‘Return to the Lord your God for He is merciful and compassionate. Slow to get angered and filled with unfailing love. He is eager to relent and not punish.’ Accordingly, you have a God who has a compassionate heart. Whenever you repent and cry out to God, He is so merciful to forgive you. So, today, God is going to give you a new heart and a new life. 

In the Old Testament days when people were filled with grief, they used to tear their clothes into two. But here God says, ‘instead of tearing your clothes tear your heart.’ When you realise your sin and confess it, God is so loving to forgive you. That’s what the Bible says in Psalm 51:17, “The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, A broken and a contrite heart—These, O God, You will not despise.” When you thus give your heart to God, He is so merciful to receive you for He is readily waiting for you to come to Him. The Prophet Joel functioned as a spiritual watchman over Judah. He pleaded with the nation to turn to the Lord in genuine repentance so as to avoid the destruction of the coming of the Lord. My friend, the coming of the Lord is indeed very soon. 

One day, when we were praying as a family the Lord spoke to us through Haggai 2:6, ‘In a little while I will once more shake the heavens and the earth, the sea and the dry land.’ Yes, He said, “I will shake all nations and what is desired by all nations will come to pass and I will fill this house with glory.” When the Lord thus spoke to us, we were shivering within us. The fear of the Lord fell upon us. We all cried out to God seeking His forgiveness and said: “Lord when You come, we should be seen by You as holy people and we asked God to fill us with His glory.” My friend, this is the heart of God to fill everyone with His glory. The Lord will fill you with greater glory because God is so compassionate and loving. When you cry out to God, He will have compassion upon you dear friend. The Lord is indeed coming soon. Let us repent and ask God for His forgiveness, today.

Prayer:

Precious Heavenly Father, I have come before You with a repentant heart feeling terrible for my sins. I truly feel sorry for what I have done against You. Father, have compassion on me. Father, as the Bible says You are slow to anger and You are a loving Father, please forgive my sins. Even now let Your hand come upon me and deliver me completely from my sins. Cleanse me, Lord. Make me pure and holy before You. Father, Your coming is so close. Let me become worthy to receive You, Lord. I tear my heart before You and cry out to You, Lord. Forgive all my secret sins, Lord. Thank you, Lord, for bringing me out of the darkness of this world. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

“I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you.” Genesis 28:15

My dear friend, today we are meditating on a beautiful promise verse which is found in Genesis 28:15, where the Lord says, “I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you.” What a lovely promise from God! 

When I read this verse, I remembered a small story. There was a father and a daughter. The daughter loved the father very much and she loved spending time with him. She enjoyed every moment she spent with her father whether it was playing with him or just talking with him or going out with him. Since her father was a very busy man, he would travel often and never be in town. But her father promised his daughter that he will be there for her Birthday and would take her out and have lots of fun together. The little daughter was so excited to spend her special day with her father and was looking forward to it. When her Birthday came, she told all her friends at school that she would be spending the day with her father. But they all discouraged her by saying that her father was a busy man and hence he will not be able to come for her Birthday as he had promised. But the little girl, without a shadow of doubt in her, said that her father will keep his promise and would definitely come to celebrate her birthday. So, after she came back from school, she stood in front of the window and kept waiting for her father eagerly to come home. She kept looking at the clock and right when it hit the time that her father had said that he would come, she saw him walking into the house towards her. She ran into her father’s arms and he held her so tight and wished her “happy birthday”. And the father did everything that he had promised his little girl that he would do. They celebrated her birthday together with such joy and the little girl was happy that her father did just as he had promised. 

In the same way, my friend, God will never leave you until He has done what He has promised you. All His promises in your life will come to pass. Numbers 23:19 says, “God is not human, that He should lie, not a human being, that He should change His mind. Does He speak and then not act? Does He promise and not fulfill?” Accordingly, our unchanging God will do just as He has promised to you. You will receive it and will celebrate with the Lord with so much joy. So, expect the Lord to fulfill His promises in your life.

Prayer:

Lord Jesus, thank You for Your beautiful promise. Thank You for You are a promise-keeping God. You will never leave me nor forsake me. Lord, I pray for You to fulfil all the promises You have spoken over my life. Let all the promises that I have been waiting to receive, be fulfilled in Your mighty name. Lord, I pray that You build my life for You are the lifter of my head. Lift me up to great heights just as you have promised me. I pray that You will open the doors so that I can walk into my blessing, today. Thank You, Lord, for You are not going to leave me until You have fulfilled Your every promise in my life. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

“In righteousness you shall be established; You shall be far from oppression, for you shall not fear; And from terror, for it shall not come near you.” Isaiah 54:14

Dear friend, today the Lord is blessing you with His promise which is taken from Isaiah 54:14 where He says, “In righteousness you shall be established; You shall be far from oppression, for you shall not fear; And from terror, for it shall not come near you.” What a beautiful affirming promise of God!

How can God establish you in righteousness? Our God has the heart of a mother. We all have the experience of our mothers being concerned about our character and wellbeing, waking us up in the mornings and making sure that we have read our Bibles, isn’t it? The same goes with our Lord too. He is also concerned about our character and wellbeing. This is well said in Isaiah 50:4: “The Sovereign Lord has given me a well-instructed tongue, to know the word that sustains the weary. He wakens me morning by morning, wakens my ear to listen like one being instructed.” This is the motherly heart of God! In this manner, the Lord establishes you with righteousness. So, my friend, be sensitive to God. Always be willing to listen to Him and obey His Word. 

When you thus obey God, He will fill you with a new tongue. In Zephaniah 3:9 the Lord says, “I will purify the lips of the peoples, that all of them may call on the name of the Lord and serve Him shoulder to shoulder.” Yes, my friend, the Lord Himself will purify your lips. When you cling on to this loving God, Who cares about you constantly like a mother; Who has a covenantal love toward you; Whose character never changes with time, He will lead you into righteousness. My friend, today, may this loving Lord bless you with His righteousness. The good news is our loving Lord Jesus has already exchanged His righteousness so that you can lead a clean and pure life before Him. Yes, He who knew no sin gave Himself for you so that you will have His righteousness. When you have God’s righteousness you will fear no more. You will see oppression no more. You will no more be put down. But, instead, you will walk with your head lifted high above all the people. This is how the Lord establishes your life. So, rejoice and be glad!

Prayer:

Loving Lord Jesus, thank You for speaking to me through Your Word. Lord, thank You for exchanging Your righteousness on the cross for me. Lord, I commit my life into Your loving hands. Change me from within and help me to lead a pure life before You. Lord, as You have promised, establish me in Your righteousness. Lord, purify my lips and fill me with a new tongue. Help me to experience a difference in my spiritual life, every day. Lord, grant me a close walk with You. I love You, Lord Jesus. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen. 

 “Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts” Colossians 3:15

My dear friend, come to the King’s throne with expectations and He will fulfill them. Today’s promise is taken from Colossians 3:15 which says, “Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts.” What a beautiful promise from God! Accordingly, the Lord’s peace will rule your heart from today. So be of good cheer!

Sometimes, we tend to invite disappointments into our hearts. It mostly occurs around negative incidents – maybe you got a bad report or some bad news or maybe your loved one is not acting as you like. Instantly, a great sense of disappointment fills your heart. There are also times when people threaten you and fear fills your heart immediately or when someone is not respecting you, anger fills your heart. And these negative emotions and feelings start ruling over your heart. But, my friend, God clearly tells in Psalm 34:14, “Turn from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.” Yes, accordingly, God wants you to seek peace! Philippians 4:6,7 also emphasises the same: “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

Accordingly, when you thus present your requests and needs to the Lord with thanksgiving and by believing that He will fulfill them for you, the Lord’s peace will certainly guard your heart and mind. Yes, you can picture the peace of God like a soldier who protects and guards a big palace which is your heart. And inside, the Lord who is the Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6) will be sitting on the throne of your heart and ruling it. When the Lord thus rules your heart, it will be filled with peace and you will walk into the peaceful ways of God in your life also. So, my friend, today, I encourage you to seek this peace and build a palace of peace in your heart where God can rule. This peace from God will guard your heart and mind and it will guard your life too. 

Prayer:

Dear Lord Jesus, thank You for Your beautiful promise. Lord, You are my Prince of Peace. You can only remove every burden from my heart. Lord, I have invited negative feelings and emotions to harbour in my heart. I have lost my peace. Lord Jesus, fill my heart with Your peace right now. I seek Your peace above all else, Lord. I invite You into my heart, into my life. Let my heart become a palace of peace where You can rule, O Lord. Release me completely from every negative and selfish emotion and feeling. Lord, You rule my heart. Let me be filled with Your matchless peace that transcends all knowledge. Lord, lead my life in Your peaceful ways and let Your blessings overflow in this path. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.

“The Lord helps them and delivers them…. because they take refuge in Him.” Psalm 37:40
My precious friend, I greet you in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Today for your blessing we are going to meditate upon the promise verse, Psalm 37:40. It says, “The Lord helps them and delivers them… because they take refuge in Him.” What a beautiful promise! Who will be helped by God? A man who is perfect (i.e., blameless) and upright indeed, as mentioned in Psalm 37:37. Also Psalm 37:39 clearly states that “the salvation of the righteous comes from the Lord; He is their stronghold in time of trouble.” So, my dear friend, we should first become perfect and blameless before God. Deuteronomy 18:13 declares “You must be blameless before the Lord your God.” 
Do you know how to become a righteous person? We become righteous and blameless when we are washed by the blood of Jesus Christ that was shed on the cross for us. Yes, just to make you a perfect and blameless person, God has sacrificed His life on the cross. Today let me ask you this question. Are you going on the right path, my friend? If it’s a no, you have to look to the cross first where the Lord Jesus gave Himself as a living sacrifice just for you. Otherwise, it is difficult to lead an upright life. At the cross, Jesus was bruised and broken to pieces from head to toe. What great agony and suffering he had to go through just for you, my dear friend.
Today will you open your heart to this loving Lord and accept Him as your Saviour. You can become a perfect person by the blood of Jesus Christ. In the Bible, we read about a man called Job who was an upright man. Even though he was a godly man he had to go through a lot of loss and suffering in his life. But because he was a perfect and upright man God helped him to overcome all the suffering he had in his life. He became a blessed man finally. In the same way, you can also become a perfect person and through that, you can receive all of God’s abundant blessings. My friend, always remember to look to the Lord to get His help and blessings.
Prayer:
My precious heavenly Father, thank You Lord for the provision You have made on the cross for me to receive Your blessings. Father, You suffered on the cross for my sins. You were beaten and bruised on the cross to put an end to my sins and my sufferings. Lord, I look to Your cross now. Forgive me for I am a sinner. Cleanse me with Your precious blood. Make me Your child and let me become blameless and upright before You. Let Your abundant blessings flow into my life. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.

“….The gracious hand of our God is on everyone who looks to Him…..”Ezra 8:22
Dear friend, today’s promise is taken from Ezra 8:22,“The gracious hand of our God is on everyone who looks to Him.”I am reminded of a beautiful song called “Precious Lord, take my hand.” I am sure most of you might have heard about this song.

The lines in this song suggest “Lord, I am tired, I am weak; Please take my hand and lead me.” The song writer was going through all of these when he was composing this song. In fact,the story behind his song is sad.This songwriter was a very famous singer and while he went to perform at a function, he lost his wife during childbirth. By the time he could reach to see his wife, the doctor said that she had died already.But he was finding some solace to have his new born son alive in his hands. Unfortunately, that solace too did not last long as his infant son passed away the very same night. He was heartbroken and he cried out to the Lord saying “every day I sing Your hymns.Why did this happen to me? I am so tired and weary.” That is when the Lord made him write this heart-touching song,“Precious Lord, take my hand.” In the same way, the Lord promises to take your hand today.
The Bible says in Psalm 34:18,“The Lord is close to the broken-hearted.” Today, are you feeling so lonely? Have you lost loved ones in your life? Be of good courage, dear friend.The Lord promises you that He will take your hand. The Scripture says even if your mother or your father forgets you, the Lord will never forsake you. Yes, the Lord is always with you, my friend. So never feel lonely. Every day seek the Lord’s face; tell Him, “Lord, I need you in my life.”You will certainly feel His presence every single minute of the day. Today, let us thank the Lord for being with us always.
Prayer:
Lord Jesus, Thank You for Your lovely promise. Today, I am feeling very lonely, Lord. I feel like there is no one to help me or support me. But You, O Lord, have promised that You are always close to me. I put my trust inYou, Lord. Let Your loving presence surround me. Keep me safe under Your wings.I should never feel lonely again. I want to feel Your presence always, Lord.Thank You for taking my hand, precious Lord. Be with me, strengthen me and guide me. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.

“….The Lord will again delight in you and make you prosperous….”Deuteronomy 30:9
 
My dear friend, today we are meditating on the promise verse found in Deuteronomy 30:9 which says,“The Lord will again delight in you and make you prosperous”. Yes, as promised, the Lord is going to make you prosperous. He will bless the work of your hands, heal your body, heal your finances, heal your family life and make you prosperous in every aspect of your life.

Perhaps you are saying “I am not able to see the good things that I had once experienced in my life long back.” Maybe your business was doing well initially or your family life looked so good at the start of your married life. It could also be about your studies which seemed so exciting in the beginning or perhaps you are worried about your health now saying “I was so healthy before.” Are you asking“Why is this happening to me? Why am I not seeing the happiness that was there before? Why am I so miserable now than before?” Are you heartbroken that all the others around you are so happy and so well except you? Take heart, my friend!
Today, the Lord is promising you that He wants to make you prosperous again. Yes, the Lord delights in prospering His children. He does not want to see you suffer anymore but delights in seeing you prosper. Just believe it with all your heart. Today let us therefore rejoice and be glad and thank the Lord for this blessing.
Prayer:
Dear Lord,  I thank You for today’s promise. Thank You, Lord, for delighting in me again. Prosper me in every aspect of my life, Lord. Heal my body, heal my business, heal my finances, heal my family life, and prosper me in my studies. Bless me with a wonderful future. Lord, I believe that I am not receiving an average blessing from You, instead, I am going to be prosperous in all aspects of my life. Thank You, Lord, for You are doing it for me today, according to the promise verse. Thank You, Lord and I claim this blessing over my life. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

“Though the mountains be shakenand the hills be removed, yet My unfailing love foryou will not be shaken nor My covenant of peace be removed,”says the Lord, who has compassion on you. Isaiah 54:10
Dear friend, it is such a joy to share with you the Lord’s promise for today at the very beginning of this month. As mentioned in Isaiah 54:10 the Lord says to you, “Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed yet My unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor My covenant of peace be removed.” What a beautiful promise! Yes, the Lord promises you that He will never leave you nor forsake you.

Everything in this world remains so uncertain. There are people who are losing their possessions, their jobs and some even their lives. All that we see on this earth are short-lived and are passing away. But even in the midst of these uncertainties, our unchanging God is giving you an assurance saying “My love for you will never fail. Nobody can remove Me from your life.” What a loving God! Romans 8:38&39 reiterates this: “For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
In John 16:33 our Lord Jesus says, “…In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” My friend, the world that we live in is so full of evil. Sometimes we have to go through tribulations. We may suffer from a lack of love from our own family members and friends. Perhaps we have lost all our possessions and we are in dire need. Some might have lost their family members. In the midst of these hopeless situations, the Lord says to you,“My love for you is constant and My peace will remain in you always”. This is why our Lord Jesus had to undergo an agonising death on the cross so as to bring peace into our lives(Isaiah 53:5).

My friend, everything might be removed from your life. But nothing can remove God from your life. In one of our Partners’Meetings, a dear sister came to me and said “I have lost my husband, my son and my sister. I am left with nobody now. But I have the love of Jesus in me.”I was so touched by her testimony and when I looked at her face, she was radiating the love of God within her. She also gave a big offering for the Ministry saying ‘let me bless the Lord with this.’ Heart touching, isn’t it? My friend, everything may pass away from us but not the love and the peace of God.
Prayer:
Precious Heavenly Father,

Thank You for giving me the assurance that though everything of this world may pass away yet Your unfailing love will never depart from me. Father, grant Your matchless peace and Your abounding grace upon my life. Let Your comforting presence always surround me. Let me not feel lonely anymore, Lord. Help me to rise up again and to serve You with all my heart. Father, fill me with Your special anointing. Let Your resurrection power come upon me and raise me up. Lord, thank You for giving me victory over the enemy. Let Your love and peace abound in my life always. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

“I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.” John 10:11
My dear friend, today we are meditating on the promise verse taken from John 10:11, “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.” Yes, my friend, God is your good shepherd. You have nothing to fear.
 
A shepherd taking care of his flock is a beautiful sight to behold. During the day, the  shepherd takes his sheep for a walk to different places. He stays with them always to ensure their safety and also makes sure that they are fed well. At night the shepherd takes his flock to the sheepfold. A sheepfold is a circular fence-type strong enclosure that is made up of rocks. At the top of the fence, there are sharp objects to prevent thieves from stealing the sheep and also to stop the sheep from jumping out of the fence. But there is a small space
at the entrance of the sheepfold. Why do you think is that space for? That space is for the shepherd to lay down in the entrance. He lays there all night watching over his sheep so that  no one can touch his flock. Even though it is risky for him as harm may come or people may come to steal the sheep, he stays there to protect them all night. He is willing to lay down his life for his sheep.
Yes, my friend, our loving God also does the same for us. He says to the enemy,“ you cannot touch My children.” Such is the love of our Lord for us and this is the  confidence we have today. Take heart, my friend! The Lord will protect you and be your good shepherd.
Prayer:
Dear Lord, today I pray for Your divine protection upon my life. I thank You for Your wonderful promise. I thank You for You are my good shepherd. Thank You for laying down Your life for me, Lord. Let no sickness touch my body. Let no harm come against me. Let no evil that is planned against me touch my life. Let me face no more failures, Lord. Keep me safe and watch over me for You are my good shepherd. I receive this blessing today.In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
