God Will Speak Through You – Stella Ramola
My dear friend, today we are meditating on the promise verse which is in Exodus 4:12, “I will help you speak and will teach you what to say.” Accordingly, the Lord will put the right words in your mouth and will give you the tongue of a well-trained scholar!
Even today, you may be wondering how am I going to speak in front of my class or how am I going to make this presentation at work. Or you may be wondering, “I need to speak to these important people. What am I going to say?” Maybe it’s in a Bank or in a Court or even in front of your family members. Perhaps it’s in a very important place where you have to present yourself and speak. Wherever it is, the Lord says that He will help you to speak. In the Bible, we find Moses perplexed to speak out before the Pharaoh. When God called Moses to lead the people of Israel into the promised land, he told God that he was a stammerer and that he didn’t do well with speech. But that’s when God promises Moses, “I will be with you and teach you what to say.” And the Lord put words of power and authority in the mouth of Moses and helped him lead the people of Israel beautifully out of their slavery.
In the same way, God will lead you too and teach you what to say. So, do not be afraid and do not think that you cannot do it. When God teaches you and when you thus speak His words, the people around you will be amazed and say, “Is this the real you?” As a matter of fact, you yourself will be surprised by your words and say, “Did I say those words?” Was I the one speaking?” Yes, my friend, the Lord will put the right words in your mouth and will teach you what to talk. As the Bible says, you will have the tongue of a well-trained scholar and will accomplish great things in your life. Be of good cheer!
PRAYER:
Loving Lord, thank You for promising me that You will be with me always even in all the moments where I need to speak. Even now, I pray that You will cleanse my lips and guard the doors of my lips so that no unclean words will proceed from my mouth. Father, teach me how to speak and grant me the tongue of a well-trained scholar. Let words of wisdom and grace flow from my mouth with confidence and clarity whenever I stand before people to talk and help me to achieve great things for Your glory. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
