God Will Fulfill His Promise To You – Stella Ramola

“The One who calls you is Faithful, and He will do it.” I Thessalonians 5:24

My dear friend, today, we are meditating on the promise verse which is in I Thessalonians 5:24, “The One who calls you is Faithful, and He will do it.” Yes, God is a Faithful God and He will make everything come to pass which He has spoken over you. 

God may have called you for a great purpose – Whether it be becoming a doctor or starting a business or He might have called you to do Ministry. The Lord might have prophesied a great future for you; a wonderful life partner or a beautiful baby and so many other things regarding your life. Initially, you might have been so happy in receiving these prophecies and promises from God. But looking at your life now you may feel discouraged that nothing that God promised, seems to be happening in front of your eyes. You feel like you are not able to believe in the Lord’s promises. Maybe you are in so much debt now or you may be feeling so lonely and feeling rejected by the people around you. Are you questioning how would I even achieve what God has spoken over me? My friend, God is Faithful. He certainly will do what He has promised you.

This is what happened in my (late) grandfather, Dr. D.G.S Dhinakaran’s life.  When he was starting the Ministry, God had prophesied great plans regarding the Ministry, his personal life and his family life. But at that time my grandfather had no money. People were speaking so badly against him. He had also lost his beloved daughter and he was full of sickness in his body. He was totally broken because he didn’t know he would live to see another day. But my friend, God was faithful and He didn’t leave my grandfather alone. He empowered him in such a way that through my grandfather, the Lord established the Karunya University, also made him a comfort to millions of people through his preaching and songs and wherever he travelled God did miracles and wiped away the tears of millions of people. In this manner whatever the Lord promised my grandfather, He accomplished the same through my grandfather in his lifetime and it is still coming to pass through his family (us) from generation to generation. So, today, my dear friend, don’t be discouraged. Whatever God speaks it won’t go void. That’s what we see in Isaiah 55:11 “So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.” So, whatever God speaks over you it will happen in your life because of His faithfulness. So be confident and be of good courage. You will do great things in your life and it will continue from generation to generation. 

Prayer:

Loving Heavenly Father, thank You for all Your promises. Lord, all Your promises are yes and amen in You. I am so grateful that You are so Faithful and You will never let any of Your Words go in vain. Lord, I pray that You will begin to work in my life and accomplish all Your promises. You are Faithful and Your faithfulness will bring Your perfect blessings into my life. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
