Enjoy your blessing – Dr. Paul Dhinakaran
My precious friend, God has created this day for you to rejoice over His goodness in your life. In His infinite kindness, He declares, “I will make you a blessing. And I will make the places surrounding My hill a blessing” (Ezekiel 34:26). Accordingly, God wants you to be blessed and enjoy His blessings and be a blessing to others.
That’s how God blessed Abraham, as we see in Genesis 12:2 and 3. The Almighty God is a loving and benevolent God, full of blessings. As mentioned in Ephesians 1:3, “He fills you also with every spiritual blessing that is in Christ Jesus.” It is through Jesus Christ that you and I receive these blessings, as He became a curse on the cross to bring forth God’s blessings upon us. Therefore, you and I should never say, “I have been brought into this world as a curse,” or “I am surrounded only with curses,” or “Everyone is cursing me,” or “Anything that I do is a failure.” You need not say these negative words because the One to Whom you have given your life, Jesus Christ, has paid the ultimate price, becoming a curse for you, for you to have a blessing and for you to be a blessing. So, you should rejoice in Jesus Christ and thank Him for living in your heart. Your heart, which is ‘the hill’, is surrounded by God’s blessings, and hence, you are full of God’s blessings. So, claim this! Confess this! You will witness the blessings of God in you rising up at this very moment. As the Bible states in Hebrews 12:24, “Jesus is speaking good things into your life through His blood.” And so, according to John 1:16, “Because of the fullness of Jesus in you, one blessing after another will come into you and come through you.”
When the blessings of the Lord surround you, you will begin to rejoice just as it is mentioned in Isaiah 55:12, “For you shall go out with joy, and be led out with peace; The mountains and the hills shall break forth into singing before you.” May the Lord grant you this blessing today so that you will enjoy the blessings He has placed within you through Jesus Christ, one after another and glorify His name.
PRAYER:
Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your loving promise. Thank You, Lord, for taking up my curses upon yourself on the cross and for surrounding me with Your blessings. Thank You for the good things You are speaking into my life through Your precious blood. Lord, I believe that all my sins and curses are put under Your feet. I claim my victory and my blessings in Your mighty name. Thank You, Lord, for blessing me beyond measure and for making me a blessing to others for Your glory. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
