God Is Actively Guarding Your Life – Sis. Stella Dhinakaran
My dear child of God, I greet you in the name of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Today, let us meditate on Psalm 97:10, which states, “The Lord guards the lives of His faithful ones and delivers them from the hand of the wicked.” Accordingly, God is always watching over you and protecting you from all harm.
As you reflect on this verse, ask yourself, am I leading a faithful life before God? Our God is holy and expects us to walk in His ways. Leviticus 11:45, 19:2, 20:26, and 1 Peter 1:16 all emphasise the importance of living a holy life. To do so, you must have a reverence for God and strive to keep your thoughts and actions pure and righteous. When you live a holy life and fear God, you can trust that He will protect you from all harm. Luke 10:19 assures that nothing can harm you when you are in the hands of God. Psalm 91:1 also encourages you and I to dwell in the secret place of the Most High God, where we will find safety and shelter from the storms of life.
Therefore, my dear child of God, I urge you to examine your life and ask yourself if you are living a holy life. Are your thoughts and actions pleasing to God? If not, it is never too late to turn back to Him and seek His forgiveness. I encourage you to commit yourself to living a life that honours God and trust that He will protect you and guide you every step of the way.
PRAYER:
Precious Heavenly Father, I know You are watching over my life. I pray that You will guide me to walk before You in a holy manner, with reverence for You. Please bless me, Lord, and cover me with Your precious blood. Grant me a new heart and a new life, so that I may live a holy life before You. Thank You for Your constant love and protection over my life. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
