New Life By The Spirit Of God – Sis. Stella Dhinakaran
Precious child of God, I greet you in the mighty name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Today’s promise is from Job 33:4 which says, “The Spirit of God has made me, And the breath of the Almighty gives me life.”
As human beings, we have been created by the Lord as man and woman in this world. It is through the breath of the Almighty God that we receive life, a new life. II Corinthians 5:17 says, “If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”. Accordingly, if you are in Christ, you become a new creation and all your past sins are erased. The Lord Jesus came into this world and sacrificed His life on the cross to give us this new life. Therefore, you, as a beloved child of God, should come to the cross daily. This is the only way to become a new creation in Christ, follow the Lord’s ways, and have true fellowship with Him alone. In I Corinthians 6:17, it is mentioned that those who join with the Lord become one spirit with Him. Therefore, you become a Spirit-filled person, and the Holy Spirit will guide and lead you in a beautiful way. As per I John 1:3, we have fellowship with the Lord God Almighty. Yes, you have God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit in you and with you. What a privilege!
Dear child of God, I would urge you to seek the Lord and ask for the Holy Spirit to fill you completely. The Holy Spirit is the Lord Himself and will be your constant companion during all times. You need not fear or worry anymore, as the joy of the Lord will always be with you. Even if you have made mistakes in the past, come to the Lord, and He will forgive you. With the power of God flowing through you, you will be transformed into a new person in Christ, filled with joy and peace. Get ready to receive this blessing from the Lord, today!
PRAYER:
Precious Heavenly Father, I am grateful for Your promised gift, the Holy Spirit. Even now, Lord, I pray and long for the Holy Spirit to fill me right away. Help me to overcome all my sinful nature and erase my past sins. Through the Lord Jesus Christ, who sacrificed His life on the cross for me, I ask that You will bless me with a brand-new life. Lord, I believe that You have cleansed me with Your precious blood, and have transformed my life completely. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
