Your Work Will Be Rewarded – Dr. Paul Dhinakaran

My precious friend, according to the promise in Jeremiah 31:16, ‘“Your work will be rewarded,” declares the Lord’. 

Maybe you are saying there is nobody to acknowledge my hard work. Or perhaps you are feeling sad because there is nobody to reciprocate or respond to the genuine love you shower upon people. Maybe you are disappointed saying “I am studying so much but I am not getting good marks or a good job for the labour I have put in.” But today the Lord says “I will reward you.” So, my friend, get ready! Your work will be rewarded! Yes, all the labour that you have put in, has been recorded by the Lord Himself in His account book in heaven.

The Lord says in Isaiah 65, “My people will long enjoy the work of their hands. They will build houses and live in them. They will plant vineyards and will eat their fruit. They and their children shall be blessed!” And this blessing will only increase. So, my friend, do not be afraid! The Lord sees how much you have laboured. He sees how much you have loved the people in spite of their ingratitude.  He sees how much you have spent your money, your time and your effort in bringing hope and life to others even though they are not aware of it. The Lord says to you, “My child, I will reward you!” So, rejoice and be glad!

PRAYER: Loving Lord, I thank You for Your wonderful promise. Lord, You are the Rewarder of those Who diligently seek You. Lord, You know how I have laboured all these years with clean hands and a pure heart. You are the One Who is able to bless me openly. Lord, I, therefore, pray earnestly that you will bless all my efforts and reward me to the fullest. Let Your name alone be glorified in and through my life. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
