Fruitful Life through the Living Waters – Dr. Paul Dhinakaran
“I will pour water on the thirsty land, and streams on the dry ground.” Isaiah 44:3
My precious friend, today’s promise is taken from Isaiah 44:3 where the Lord says, “I will pour water on the thirsty land, and streams on the dry ground.” What a precious promise of God it is!
Indeed, there are two types of ground. One is dry ground which will never suck in the water. It will allow the water to flow over it and benefit some other land. But there is another land which is a thirsty land. This land longs for water. When this land receives water, it brings forth much fruit over the ground. Even today, are you like this thirsty ground longing for love, comfort or a miracle? The Lord is pouring His life-giving water into you, now. And that living water is Jesus Christ and His Spirit.
Today, we are unable to do anything by ourselves. Maybe your strength is gone or perhaps you say you have no wisdom or maybe you have lost all your finances and say there’s nobody to help you out. You feel so stuck and you are wondering what to do! My friend, open your heart to the Lord and say, “Lord. fill me with Your Holy Spirit and strengthen me. I want to bear fruit for Your glory and shine in my life.” As you thus ask the Lord, you will become a blessing to others and shine for His glory. Tell the Lord that you desire to bring healing to the broken-hearted people; you want to give to the poor or you want to show the people the way of life through salvation in Jesus. The Lord will fill you with His living waters and you will have a fruit-bearing life bring glory to His name.
Prayer:
Loving Heavenly Father, I thank You for encouraging me with Your promise. I pray that Your living waters will flow into my life and transform my life completely. Lord, I do thirst for You. So, Holy Spirit, come upon me mightily and strengthen me, Lord. Give me Your peace and confidence to lead a fruitful life for Your glory. Thank You, Lord, for blessing me to be a blessing to others. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
