You will receive Supernatural Strength from God – Sis. Stella Dhinakaran
“Those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength.” Isaiah 40:31
My precious friend, I greet you in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Today, the Lord wants to bless you according to His promise found in Isaiah 40:31 which says, “Those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength.” What a wonderful promise of God!
Today, you may be saying “I am weak in my body and mind. In whatever I do, I don’t have the peace or joy.” My friend, there is one important thing that you need to learn in life and that is learning to wait on the Lord’s feet which is basically prayer. Prayer is looking unto the Lord and expecting Him to bless you. It does not stop with that alone. Prayer goes beyond seeking God for blessings to seeking Him for leading you according to His will. When we thus wait on the Lord, as mentioned in Galatians 5:5, we receive the hope of righteousness and our faith gets kindled. Consequently, we will have a righteous life and we will be blessed with God’s presence. James 3:18 also reiterates the same point. Romans 15:13 says, when we are baptised by the Holy Spirit and thus filled with the power of God, the Lord will fill us with new strength. We will be strengthened in our spirit and we will have the joy of the Holy Spirit as well as His peace in everything. This is what is precisely explained in today’s promise, Isaiah 40:31. The Lord will indeed renew your strength.
My friend, are you saying that you are weak in your body, in your mind and in your spirit? Right now, the Lord wants to strengthen you and fill you with His power. So, pray and get filled with the power of God. Have you received the baptism of the Holy Spirit? If not, get filled with the Holy Spirit. I would encourage you to start thanking God from the bottom of your heart. The more you thank Him, the more you will be filled with the power of God. Then, the Lord will fill you with His grace, peace, joy and all the strength that you need in your body, soul and mind. So, expect great things from the Lord!
Prayer:
Precious Lord, thank You for Your beautiful promise. Lord, as You have promised, grant me new strength in my body, soul and mind. Remove every weakness from my life. Help me to spend more time with You in prayer and wait at Your feet. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit and empower me from within. Fill me with Your peace and joy that passes all understanding. Thank You, Lord, for renewing my strength, today and for giving me new assurance, hope and boldness to overcome every situation. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
