“As for God, his way is perfect: The Lord’s word is flawless; he shields all who take refuge in him.” (2 Samuel 22:31)
Dear friend, it’s a joy to share God’s word with you today. The Bible says in II Samuel 22:31 “As for God, his way is perfect: The Lord’s word is flawless; he shields all who take refuge in him.” Today, the Lord will be a shield to you and will protect you and your family members. I place this blessing upon you and may God protect you according to Psalm 91:4: “He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.” Come running to the bosom of God. This is what David did and said in Psalm 71:3; “Be my rock of refuge, to which I can always go; give the command to save me, for you are my rock and my fortress.”
When we were in America and every time I felt very tired and exhausted, I would go to a house. As I loved going to that house, I myself would drive and go there. The mother of that house loves me very much. She would all the time read The Bible and pray. She would be praying not only for herself but for others over the telephone. The moment I entered the house, she would come running to me and hug me. She would literally call me saying ‘my child’ and ask if I had eaten. When I would return back to my home, she would pack food and make sure I had everything. I lovingly call her ‘my Dallas mom.’
My friend, our Lord Jesus also loves you like a mother loves her child. When you go running to the bosom of God, he loves you and he makes sure that you are blessed in everything. Whenever I would visit the prayer tower, this is exactly what the partners would say. They would testify of all the miracles and blessings that the Lord had done for them. They would be jumping with joy with all the blessings and mention the prayer tower as the mother’s home. Yes, God has so much of love for you just like a mother. I pray that the Lord will provide you with everything. My dear friend may the Lord be a shield around you.
Prayer:
My loving heavenly Father,
The Bible says your promises are true, your ways are perfect, and you are a shield to those who come running to you. Make this promise become true in my life. Protect me from all harm.
In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
