God sustains the elderly – Dr. Paul Dhinakaran

“They will still bear fruit in old age, they will stay fresh and green, proclaiming, “The Lord is upright; he is my Rock, and there is no wickedness in him.” (Psalm 92:14, 15)
May God bless you my precious friend. Today’s promise is taken from Psalm 92:14, 15. “They will still bear fruit in old age, they will stay fresh and green, proclaiming, “The Lord is upright; he is my Rock, and there is no wickedness in him.” The Lord is upright; he is my Rock. Yes, how does The Lord prove that He is upright? It is by caring for those in old age. He is so upright to care for those who are old. He has promised, “I will carry you. I will sustain you even until your old age.” Are you old? Jesus through The Holy Spirit will carry you to show that he is an upright God.

Look at Jesus on the cross. He speaks words of forgiveness and spiritual blessing; and suddenly, even though He was suffering on the cross, He looked at his mother who was far away. Maybe He thought in his heart, ‘who will carry my mother hereafter?’  When she wanted wine in the marriage home, I turned the water into wine. I did it to save her honor and the honor of her family members. My brothers and sisters born to my mother never cared for me, never cared for spiritual blessings. Who will take care of my mother in the spiritual realm?’ Then, He saw John, who was always in his bosom with great love for him. He said ‘John I have no bosom of love anymore. I give you my mother. Go and take care of her.’
Yes! This is the heart of God for the elderly people, the heart of Jesus. He will care for you. He will carry you to show He is upright. My dear mothers and fathers just trust him. Even though you are elderly, for Jesus, you are just a child. He will protect you, take care of your needs, and keep you blessed.

Father,

I pray for everyone who is looking to you in their old age. Appear by their side. Give them good health and strength and let them see days of joy in their family.
