Draw you with deep compassion – Sis. Stella Dhinakaran
For a brief moment I abandoned you, but with deep compassion I will bring you back. (Isaiah 54:7)
My precious brothers and sisters, God says to you today that He will pull you back to Him with deep compassion. He wants to deliver you from all evil. Let’s look at the life of David. He committed a mistake against God by taking census. But God did not slay him so he says, “God’s mercies are great.” Even today, you can also expect God to be merciful to you inspite of your mistakes by crying out to God and asking His forgiveness. Say to the Lord, “Father, forgive me. I have done this great mistake. Please help me to come out of this problem.” As David cried out like this to God, God’s compassion came upon on David. David called to the Lord and God withheld the angels from causing further destruction.
Even now you might be facing so many problems. If you commit your life to Jesus Christ and cry out to Him saying, “Lord, have mercy upon me. I am a sinful person. Cleanse me with Your precious blood,” His great mercy will come and destroy everything that causes you to commit mistakes. God will remove all the problems and pull you out of all your sins because of His deep compassion on you. Your bad desires will disappear, They will not torment you anymore. Just as God had mercy on David, He will have mercy on you too. What a merciful God we have!
We read in Psalm 34:6, “This poor man called, and the Lord heard him; He saved him out of all his troubles.” Also, we read, “But you, Lord, are a compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness” (Psalm 86:15, Psalm 103:8). God is full of compassion and is gracious. This God of grace is in your midst. His mercy will come upon you specially today as you call on Him. Whatever mistake you have done, He will wash you clean with His blood and make you white as snow for He says “Come now, let us settle the matter,” says the LORD. “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool” (Isaiah 1:18). So settle everything with God right today and He will make you a new person.
Prayer:
Father,
I commit my life to You today. I have committed many mistakes in my life. You are so merciful so please forgive me. Let Your love and compassion come upon me and draw me out of my sinful nature. Make me a new person. Deliver me from all my addictions. Have mercy upon me. Let the blood of Jesus wash me as white as snow.
In Jesus name I pray,Amen.
